Position Summary
AAA United States Inc. has partnered with a renowned international aerospace company in Herndon, VA. This commercial aircraft manufacturer, with a strong presence in Space and Defense, is a global leader in aeronautics and space. The Region Crisis Management Coordinator leads and coordinates crisis management and emergency response programs in a defined geographic region.
Essential Functions
- Support CM Governance (30%): Maintain updated regional crisis management team information, ensure compliance, monitor training, drills, and activation procedures. Follow up on corrective actions using Airbus CM methods and ERM tools.
- Regional Meetings, Trainings, Exercises (30%): Propose, present and support crisis management and Family Care meetings; assist in trainings and post-event reports.
- Crisis Management Awareness (30%): Develop and deliver presentations; promote a crisis management culture; train users on the Airbus Emergency Mass Notification tool.
- Evaluate Current Events (5%): Assess crises using internal and open source tools; coordinate with HR, Finance, IM, and Legal.
- Additional Responsibilities (5%): Support cyber resilience, collaborate with Product Safety, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree required; Master degree preferred.
- 2+ years experience in Crisis Management, Emergency Management, or Emergency Response.
- Understanding of crisis management methodologies, risk analysis, regulatory compliance and contractual policies.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- Up to 10% Domestic and International Travel.
- Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
