The ACG Internship Program aims to provide a rich, relevant, and rewarding experience for college students. Interns will have weekly touch-bases with the Internship Team and meet virtually with executives from around the organization. The goal of the program is to provide interns with the opportunity to connect, network, and grow as they work on department-specific projects. The experience is designed to enhance the skills and abilities of young professionals and identify future talent for our organization.
In this position with the AAA ACG Data Strategy Team, you will:
- Drive business results by supporting data pipeline development, contributing to documentation efforts, and participating in code reviews and quality assurance
- Broaden your knowledge and create meaningful connections by cross-collaborating among the many business lines of ACG in a wide range of auditing projects
A Day in the Life of a Data Strategy Engineering Intern
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Strategy Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on pipeline development, documentation, and process optimization using modern cloud technologies. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, collaborative, and passionate about turning data into actionable insights.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Gain real world experience in data engineering and cloud technologies
- Assist in building, testing, and maintaining data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Improve current processes by designing and building performance enhancement automations
- Experience working on impactful projects and presenting to stakeholders
We Are Looking For Candidates Who
Required Qualifications:
Must be:
- At least a junior, fully enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Studying a field related to Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, etc.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S
Must have:

- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills (oral and written), organizational skills, and strong situational adaptability
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks to ensure timely solutions to problems that meet business line goals
- Experience with PC software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, and GCP
Knowledge of:
- Basic math calculations to accurately perform various types of transactions
Ability to:
- Learn the full range ACG products, services and functions to perform the responsibilities of assigned job
- Assist internal/external client(s) in response to questions, requests and resolution of problems
- Gather data and prepare/track reports
- Assist and/or develop reports/presentations/recommendations for management review
- Communicate effectively with others in a work environment and with the public
- Work independently and on teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to learn and adapt to corporate cultures and processes and provide own relevant and effective experience and best practices
- Be comfortable in an environment where responsibilities are broadly defined, resources are limited, and collaboration is critical to success
- Ability to provide good service to internal and/or external customers
- Familiarity with programming concepts, database management, and Version Control with Git
- Emerging debugging ability, including understanding what debugging is, following basic error messages, and assisting with simple issue triage under guidance.
Compensation and Time Commitment
The Auto Club Group will provide compensation of $22.75/hour for 40 hours/week. The interns will be expected to report during core hours Monday through Friday for the duration of the program’s twelve (12) weeks. The program will run from May 18th to August 7th, 2026.
Work Environment
This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.
