Overview
A24 is seeking a Temporary Publicity Coordinator to join our Los Angeles Publicity team on a temporary basis for a minimum of 6-months. This role requires a motivated self-starter with 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in PR. The position is hybrid with a requirement to work from A24’s West Hollywood location at least 3 days a week.
Initial Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support by scheduling calls, meetings, and screenings.
- Organize and update inter-departmental calendars and manage publicity inventory.
- Coordinate Talent, Filmmaker, and Executive Travel including booking cars, flights, and hotels.
- Compile, track and distribute press breaks, reviews, and reactions.
- Create, maintain and send Talent and Filmmaker schedules.
- Manage expense reports and process departmental invoices in partnership with AP.
- Assist in imagery and clip management and update tracking sheets.
- Maintain Publicity files and press sites with imagery, press notes, and links.
- Coordinate and update agency documents for film and TV projects.
- Staff publicity events including screenings, press days, festivals, and awards events.
- Send and track screener links, DVDs, and coordinate DCP shipments.
- Oversee Publicity Interns including selection and training.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional work experience, preferably in PR.
- Motivated self-starter proficient in multitasking, communication, and time management.
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail.
- Personable, social, enthusiastic, humble, and resourceful.
Additional Details
This is a temporary W-2 position with a minimum commitment of 6-months and a workload of at least 40 hours per week. The target hourly rate ranges from $20 to $24, based on experience, skills, and training.
