The Role
a16z is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to create impactful content for its Limited Partners (LPs). The role involves developing and executing strategic content plans tailored for LPs. The content will range from blog posts, presentations, video posts, social media posts, podcasts, infographics, whitepapers, case studies, to newsletters. The candidate will be responsible for:
- Engaging and captivating LPs with insightful, non-promotional content.
- Staying current with cultural and technological trends.
- Translating digital insights into thoughtful content.
- Experimenting with innovative digital formats.
- Analyzing content performance with analytics tools.
- Taking initiatives from 0 to 1 as a content builder and innovator.
- Managing content calendars and aligning across teams.
- Delivering educational content for the IR team on diverse topics.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Develop and implement content strategies specifically for LPs.
- Monitor digital platforms for emerging trends affecting LPs.
- Convert fast-moving conversations into engaging content formats.
- Collaborate with investment, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
- Maintain an understanding of industry trends to shape content initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have at least 5+ years in marketing with hands-on experience in content creation, strategic planning, editorial quality, and a proven record of managing multi-quarter campaigns. Excellent writing, meticulous organization, executive communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.
