About The Role

A11 is seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team, supporting its data strategies. In this role, you will focus on building data-driven applications and contribute to various impactful projects.

Our Data & Analytics team empowers clients to achieve sustainable growth by transitioning from intuitive to objective decision-making. This is accomplished through reliable data collection, robust data infrastructure implementation, and effective data initiatives.

We believe the decade of data has arrived, with powerful technologies readily available to transform raw data into insights, products, and features. We are looking for talented individuals to join our journey, utilizing data to create real impact via scalable data ML/AI infrastructure, thorough analyses, and meaningful relationships to ensure proper application.

In This Data Engineer Role, You’ll

• Build high-quality data warehouses, cloud infrastructure, and AI workflows.
• Integrate data from various systems into flexible and consistent representations.
• Explore and evaluate the lasting impact of AI use cases and their implementation.
• Ensure all people and IT systems within the organization have easy access to data through various front-ends and interfaces.
• Work within an agile software development process, collaborating closely with the Analytics team.
• Impact the business while operating in an amazing cross-functional team environment.

Your Profile

• Genuine interest in data and algorithms, with an excitement for solving difficult business problems through scalable data products.
• Knowledge of version control systems, web technologies, software engineering best practices, and the inner workings of database systems.
• Solid experience with SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Experience with machine learning and/or AI is preferred.
• The ability to translate data science into tangible business value is a significant plus.
• Desire to learn new things and adapt to evolving technologies.
• Good communication skills in English (native/full working proficiency).
• A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.

Please note that we are looking for support in our Berlin office.
