Be part of an engaged and open-minded team developing the future of mobile virtual network operators at A1 Telekom Austria AG. Use Python, PostgreSQL, Angular, and Elixir to extend the existing IT/BSS and CRM solution.
Equipment provided: Macbook Pro. Work in an English-speaking team with mobile working options in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
You will design and develop new features for our platform in close cooperation with marketing teams, other A1 teams and partner companies. You will participate in the entire software lifecycle from design and development to testing, deployment, and third level support.
- Implement state-of-the-art technology using agile methods.
- Continuously improve a platform servicing a large customer base.
- Engage in code reviews, knowledge sharing workshops, and using third party libraries.
Your Profile
Several years of experience in software design and development, ideally in a telecommunication environment. Experience with backend development in Python using modern web/API frameworks (such as FastAPI) or alternatively in Java, C#, etc. Strong knowledge of databases, particularly PostgreSQL and SQL. Experience with modern web frameworks (Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus. Familiarity with source control (git), agile development methods, automated deployment (GitLab CI/CD) and monitoring solutions (Sentry, Grafana) is advantageous.

Compensation
The salary reflects your qualifications and experience, starting at €70,000 gross per year, all-in, with potential to exceed the collective agreement.
