About the Role
8am is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our growing Finance team at a private equity-backed SaaS & embedded FinTech company. In this hands-on role, you will gain exposure to the financial operations of our business and lead projects to improve financial reporting and forecasting.
What You'll Do
- Prepare financial reports on trends, profitability, and margins
- Partner with teams to build annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Support month-end close reviews by analyzing variances
- Improve weekly and monthly reporting for early trend identification
- Enhance accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and customer analytics
- Collaborate on internal reporting changes and improvements
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support real-time business decisions
- Aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources
About You
You have a minimum of 3 years of FP&A, private equity, or investment banking experience, with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics. You excel in Excel, possess excellent analytical and communication skills, and are a self-starter dedicated to learning and delivering results.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning
- Familiarity with Python for financial analysis
- Deep knowledge of GAAP accounting practices
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau
