Position Overview

4MATIV is a rapidly growing company with a broad portfolio of consulting clients. The Vice President, Consulting serves as the engagement lead for a portfolio of consulting clients, ensuring exceptional project delivery, trusted client relationships, and high-quality team performance. This leader directs consultants and analysts in executing rigorous analyses, contributes to the design and execution of analysis, oversees the development of polished deliverables, and represents 4MATIV credibly in client-facing settings.

Responsibilities

Client Engagement Leadership:

• Serve as the primary engagement lead for designated client districts and agencies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with clear communication.
• Facilitate client meetings and presentations with actionable outcomes.
• Translate client challenges into clear scopes of work and deliverables.

Project and Team Management:

• Scope, assign, and evaluate analytical and consulting tasks.
• Perform self-directed analysis and build operational models.
• Review and refine deliverables into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Maintain accountability for timelines, budgets, and engagement success.
• Mentor and support consultants and analysts to build their skills.

Practice Development:

• Collaborate to define and refine consulting methods and processes.
• Identify best practices to improve consistency, efficiency, and impact.
• Contribute to business development through identifying expanded client work.

The candidate should have experience with large datasets, be detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Essential qualifications include a bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred), at least seven years in analytics and consulting leadership, a track record of managing executive-level client relationships, and technical proficiencies in Python, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerBI. Familiarity with K-12 education, public sector operations, or transportation/logistics is an asset.
