Responsibilities

To achieve our shared goals, we are counting on you for the following:

• Integrating Geo-AI technologies into automated processing workflows for high-resolution electro-optical (EOP) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite imagery.
• Contributing to the development of AI-driven sensor fusion solutions using various Earth observation data sources (EOP, SAR, UAV, FMV).
• Designing and implementing AI solutions, including the definition of Level 3 and Level 4 derived products.
• Participating in the design and operation of the Geo-AI runtime environment, as well as training and fine-tuning Geo-AI foundational models.
• Conducting comparative testing of different types of Geo-AI algorithms (e.g. self-supervised image classification, object detection, change detection, super-resolution).

What you will need to be successful:

• Higher education degree in a relevant field (data analytics, data science, computer science, software engineering, remote sensing, or geoinformatics).
• Conversational level English proficiency.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in machine learning or computer vision data processing.
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art (frontier) segmentation and classification models, as well as foundation models.
• Experience in raster and vector geospatial data analysis, time series analysis, and thematic visualization.
• Accurate and precise work style.

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of GIS and remote sensing.
• Experience with fine-tuning and other MLflow/model optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with image processing software (e.g. ENVI, ERDAS).
• Basic knowledge of cartography and geoinformatics.
