Responsibilities
To achieve our shared goals, we are counting on you for the following:
- Integrating Geo-AI technologies into automated processing workflows for high-resolution electro-optical (EOP) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite imagery.
- Contributing to the development of AI-driven sensor fusion solutions using various Earth observation data sources (EOP, SAR, UAV, FMV).
- Designing and implementing AI solutions, including the definition of Level 3 and Level 4 derived products.
- Participating in the design and operation of the Geo-AI runtime environment, as well as training and fine-tuning Geo-AI foundational models.
- Conducting comparative testing of different types of Geo-AI algorithms (e.g. self-supervised image classification, object detection, change detection, super-resolution).
What you will need to be successful:
- Higher education degree in a relevant field (data analytics, data science, computer science, software engineering, remote sensing, or geoinformatics).
- Conversational level English proficiency.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in machine learning or computer vision data processing.
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art (frontier) segmentation and classification models, as well as foundation models.
- Experience in raster and vector geospatial data analysis, time series analysis, and thematic visualization.
- Accurate and precise work style.
Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge of GIS and remote sensing.
- Experience with fine-tuning and other MLflow/model optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with image processing software (e.g. ENVI, ERDAS).
- Basic knowledge of cartography and geoinformatics.
