Job Responsibilities for the Accountant

• Check and post bills and credit notes efficiently within NetSuite.
• Assist with the thorough review of Expense Reports in NetSuite.
• Provide essential support to main stakeholders by communicating and resolving various financial queries.
• Evaluate and meticulously reconcile ledger and supplier accounts, ensuring balances align with external suppliers and local statutory accounting.
• Perform accurate AP balance sheet reconciliation.
• Execute EFT payment runs and perform precise payment reconciliation.
• Support in the timely completion of bank reconciliations.
• Perform other periodical accounting procedures, including accruals posting, month-end and year-end close activities, and audit support.
• Organize annual inventory as per statutory requirements.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Ensure strict compliance with organizational guidelines, procedures, and state regulations.
• Participate actively in the monthly close process with clear tasks and deadlines.

Must-Have Requirements

• Strong accounting background, proficient in US GAAP and RO GAAP.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail for accuracy in all financial operations.
• Adept with numbers and figures, demonstrating strong analytical acumen.
• Solid understanding of accounting, taxes, and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite and familiarity with relevant computer software.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Proven finance experience, preferably 3-5 years, as an accountant in the IT sector.
• Knowledge of NetSuite ERP system.
