About the Website Software Engineer Role at 360Learning

Our R&D department at 360Learning boasts a team of over 60 engineers, organized into more than 10 squads. Each squad operates as a cross-functional unit, comprising developers, product managers, and designers. The Website squad is a crucial part of this structure.

Currently, the Website squad consists of 2 engineers, 1 Product Manager, and 1 Designer. Its primary objectives are:

  • Empowering our 25+ person marketing team to autonomously manage content through our CMS and by leveraging emerging AI tools.
  • Building memorable digital experiences, including engaging campaign microsites such as our L&D Maturity Model, that effectively communicate our brand and product narrative.
  • Supporting our diverse acquisition channels (paid, content, partners, SEO/GEO) with high-performance, conversion-optimized web pages.
  • Ensuring deep integration with our martech stack (Marketo, Wistia, Chili Piper, AI SEO tooling) to maintain a seamless and efficient growth engine.
  • Continuously experimenting with new libraries and automation technologies to enhance site speed, intelligence, and creative capabilities.

As a Website Software Engineer within this dynamic and collaborative squad, you will:

  • Shape every stage of development, from initial concept to final deployment.
  • Work with an attractive technology stack that includes Vuejs, TypeScript, Nuxt, and Prismic.
  • Benefit from rapid career progression within a supportive R&D team. Our decentralized peer review process ensures qualitative and regular feedback, and we actively promote pair programming and knowledge sharing.

Our website is a multifaceted asset, serving as a technical product, a creative platform, and a vital revenue engine. It stands as the cornerstone of all marketing efforts at 360Learning.

Your Journey at 360Learning

Within 1 month, you will:
  • Discover the 360Learning website's architecture and functionality.
  • Gain a global overview of our codebase.
  • Become familiar with the various marketing teams and their needs.
  • Implement your first tickets and contribute to the live site.
  • Integrate into our decentralized peer review process, adopting our best practices.
Within 3 months, you will:
  • Participate in your first significant project, supporting a marketing initiative from its inception to delivery.
  • Support and maintain the integration of the Website with one of our key marketing tools.
Within 6 months, you will:
  • Actively contribute to redefining the website roadmap alongside the squad to align with our growth objectives.
  • Iterate on front-end development best practices within the team, with the potential to create your own courses on the 360Learning platform.
  • Lead your second large-scale project, taking ownership of its timeline and technical decisions.
Within 12 months, you will:
  • Co-decide on architectural decisions for all front-end projects.
  • Be capable of auditing new tools for our martech environment.
  • Conduct tech discovery meetings and define technical requirements for various initiatives.

The Skill Set We Value

  • A strong interest in JavaScript technologies.
  • An interest in marketing topics (prior expert knowledge is not required).
  • A preference for working on diverse projects (e.g., integration, architecture, SEO, AI-powered solutions) with a significant focus on front-end challenges.
  • The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language for non-technical teammates, particularly within the Marketing team.
  • A keen eye for design, accustomed to creating intuitive, efficient, and elegant user interfaces.
  • Comfort with algorithms and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Working proficiency in English (B2 level or equivalent).
