What We’re Looking For

We seek a thoughtful, collaborative, and results-driven engineering leader to direct the strategy, development, and operational excellence of our enterprise CRM platforms, primarily focusing on our Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Lead CRM strategy across marketing, sales, and student success.
  • Provide architectural oversight and hands-on technical guidance.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing, globally distributed team.
  • Drive platform delivery, integration, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business priorities into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Strategic & Technical Leadership: Own and evolve the enterprise CRM strategy (Salesforce) while balancing long-term vision with short-term decisions.

Team & People Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 12–20 engineers, fostering a culture of TDD, pair programming, and agile retrospectives.

Platform Delivery & Operational Excellence: Oversee CRM initiatives, ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, SLAs, and performance standards.

Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Enrollment, and Data teams to align roadmaps and delivery goals.

Innovation, AI Enablement & CRM Transformation: Integrate AI/ML capabilities, run POCs, and evaluate platform improvements, including innovations such as AgentForce and Einstein GPT.

Governance & Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and IT governance standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 12+ years in IT with 5+ years in leadership and 3+ years in a delivery lead role.
  • Proven experience with complex Salesforce deployments and vendor management.
  • Salesforce Architect Certifications and experience with key event-driven tools such as Kafka and Amazon Lambda.
  • Proficiency in change management tools like Git and Copado.
  • Familiarity with edTech or publishing domains and modern programming languages including Python, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and GCP.
