Role Overview
The Solutions Engineer SMB serves as a trusted technical advisor in the SMB segment. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, you will drive revenue growth, improve win rates, and accelerate deal velocity by delivering scalable technical support across 1Password’s product suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage proof-of-concept engagements.
- Utilize frameworks like MEDDPICC to qualify opportunities.
- Support technical sales cycles and respond to security questionnaires.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement, Product, Marketing, and Support teams.
- Create and improve enablement resources and customer-facing content.
- Represent the team at industry events and offsites.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years in a technical customer-facing role in B2B SaaS, strong communication skills, and a solid technical foundation in compliance frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. A proactive, independent, and collaborative mindset with a growth orientation is essential.
Work Environment
This is a remote opportunity for candidates based in the Eastern Time Zone (Canada and US), with in-person onboarding in Toronto. Occasional travel may be required.
Compensation and Benefits
For USA-based roles, the annual base salary ranges between $75,000 USD and $105,000 USD; for Canada-based roles, between $71,000 CAD and $99,000 CAD. Benefits include health, dental, retirement plans, generous paid time off, equity grants, and more.
