Role Overview
As the Manager, Enterprise Tools, you will lead the team responsible for 1Password’s essential collaboration and productivity tools, including Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, Zoom, Asana, OpenAI/ChatGPT, and Enterprise Search, along with their integration and workflow automation. This is a foundational role where you will build the team from the ground up, establishing its operating model, culture, and processes. You will ensure enterprise tools are scalable, secure, and well-governed through oversight of service configuration, vendor strategy, cross-system workflows, and AI-driven automation. Your goal is to transform this team into a center of excellence for enterprise tools and workflow automation, preparing it to manage specialized business systems as the company expands.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing high-performing IT professionals (2+ years).
- Extensive IT experience (6+ years).
- Experience leading IT engineers or technical individuals responsible for enterprise collaboration platforms, integrations, and workflow automation.
- Technical leadership and decision-making experience across tools like Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, Zoom, Asana, and ChatGPT.
- Experience designing, supporting, and governing scalable cross-system integrations and automation workflows.
- A track record of setting strategy, planning roadmaps, and delivering complex initiatives while scaling systems and team capabilities.
- Ability to make structured decisions regarding platform configuration, access models, vendor management, AI features, and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing remote team environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration across teams.

Compensation and Benefits
USA-based roles: Annual base salary between $143,000 - $207,000 USD, plus comprehensive benefits, generous PTO, and an equity grant.
Canada-based roles: Annual base salary between $122,000 - $177,000 CAD, plus generous benefits, PTO, and an equity grant.
Compensation is based on market value, experience, and skill set, ensuring fair market value and internal equity.
