Role Overview
The Customer Training Specialist role is an individual contributor position that focuses on virtual customer education and enablement. Reporting to the Manager, Customer Onboarding, this role is key to driving customer adoption and confidence by delivering engaging training sessions. It requires collaboration with project management and customers to tailor training plans that support deployment and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams and customers to understand needs and workflows.
- Design customized training plans and secure customer buy-in.
- Deliver engaging virtual training sessions using demonstrations and hands-on practice.
- Adapt content for different skill levels and use cases.
- Create and maintain training resources such as guides, checklists, and videos.
- Provide post-training support and analyze training success with KPIs.
Qualifications
The candidate must have 2+ years of customer-facing experience preferably in SaaS, with strong virtual training and presentation skills. Familiarity with adult learning principles, LMS, CRM tools, and an analytical mindset are essential. Bonus points for familiarity with 1Password or similar password management tools.
Compensation & Benefits
USA-based roles offer an annual base salary between $63,000 USD and $88,000 USD. Canada-based roles offer between $58,000 CAD and $81,000 CAD. Benefits include health, dental, retirement plans, PTO, equity grants, and incentive programs.
