About this role
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will lead the development and oversight of monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning activities for a project focused on labor standards compliance in critical mineral supply chains in Argentina and/or Chile. What you need
- Strong MEL skills and relevant experience, preferably on projects related to human rights, forced labor, or capacity strengthening for governments and civil society
- Master’s level degree in a social science discipline, such as statistics, public policy, economics and/or specialized training in monitoring and evaluation
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing and implementing complex MEL systems for international development projects, preferably with the U.S. Department of Labor
- Experience managing monitoring & evaluation databases, conducting timely data analysis, and developing reports
- Experience in both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, managing and developing surveys, designing, and implementing data collection tools
- Experience managing international projects to the highest ethical standards
Nice to have
- Experience with U.S. Government-funded projects
- Experience with mobile data collection
- Familiarity with emerging trends in MEL reporting and learning addressing forced labor and human trafficking especially in the critical minerals supply chains in target countries
