About this role
The Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) will provide clinical and prevention services related to domestic abuse, child maltreatment, and family wellness within the Department of the Air Force Family Advocacy Program. Daily responsibilities include counseling, assessment, case management, and developing treatment plans, as well as facilitating training and community outreach programs.

What you need
- U.S.-licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Master's degree from a CSWE-accredited school (for LCSW) or COAMFTE-accredited Marriage and Family Therapy program (for LMFT)
- Two years of post-MSW experience in a clinical/treatment setting (for LCSW) or two years of experience as a marriage and family counselor (for LMFT)
- Two years of full-time post-master's clinical counseling experience serving individuals who are abusive or abused
- Demonstrated group therapy facilitation or co-leadership experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
