About this role
The Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) will provide clinical intervention and prevention services related to domestic abuse, child maltreatment, and family wellness. Daily responsibilities include counseling, assessment, case management, and developing treatment plans for individuals and families. The FAIS will also conduct training, promote prevention programs, and collaborate with community organizations to enhance awareness and support for family maltreatment prevention resources.

What you need
- U.S.-licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Master's degree from a CSWE-accredited school (for LCSW) or COAMFTE-accredited Marriage and Family Therapy program (for LMFT)
- Two years of post-MSW experience in a clinical/treatment setting (for LCSW) or two years of experience as a marriage and family counselor (for LMFT)
- Two years of full-time post-master's clinical counseling experience serving individuals who are abusive or abused
- Demonstrated group therapy facilitation or co-leadership experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
