What you need

  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, digital transformation, management consulting, or senior technical advisory roles
  • Significant experience advising large enterprises on complex technology transformation, ideally spanning commerce, payments, financial systems, or customer-facing platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with C-suite and vice president-level business and technical leaders
  • Deep understanding of enterprise commerce architecture, including systems such as commerce platforms, order management, ERP and finance, CRM, loyalty, identity, fulfillment, and cloud data platforms
  • Strong knowledge of API-first integration, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, cloud platforms, data flows, and enterprise operational models
  • Working knowledge of payments and financial infrastructure, including acceptance, acquiring, settlement, reconciliation, fraud and risk, compliance, and multi-party payment models

Nice to have

  • Experience with Stripe or comparable payments and financial infrastructure platforms
  • Experience in enterprise retail, marketplaces, platforms, software as a service (SaaS), travel, media, mobility, or other complex commerce environments
  • Experience across omnichannel commerce, global payment methods, subscriptions, business-to-business payments, marketplaces, embedded finance, or platform monetization models
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and methods, such as capability modeling, value stream analysis, domain-driven design, and transformation roadmapping
  • Experience advising on data architecture, reconciliation, risk and fraud operations, AI-enabled financial operations, or commerce personalization

Worth weighing

  • This is a pre-sales role, which may involve high-pressure situations to secure enterprise clients.
  • The role requires engagement with high-level executives, which may demand significant travel or flexible hours.
  • The focus on enterprise architecture means a deep understanding of complex systems is essential, which could be challenging for those without extensive experience in this area.
