About this role
As a Summer 2027 Engineering Intern at Stoke, you will engage in hands-on projects that directly contribute to the company's mission of building a reusable launch vehicle. You will collaborate with a mentor and team members across various engineering disciplines, applying your knowledge to solve real-world problems while developing your skills in a fast-paced environment. This role requires onsite work at one of the specified locations and a commitment to a full-time schedule for 10-14 weeks.

What you need
- Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or a similar STEM field
- Exceptional command of engineering fundamentals
- Hands-on engineering experience through internships, personal projects, work, or teams
- Ability to manage a complex technical project and take it through execution
- Ability to learn and apply state of the art techniques to technical projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Nice to have
- Project-level experience with mechanical, thermodynamic, or fluid design and analysis for Mechanical team
- CAD proficiency and working as part of a team for Mechanical team
- Hands on experience building things or working in a machine shop for Manufacturing team
- Designing, testing, and integrating PCBs, test equipment, and/or harnessing for Avionics team
- Any hands-on experience building things or performing hazardous ops (pressure testing, cryogenic handling, etc.) for Test Operations team
