About this role
As a Power System Engineer on the Transmission & Distribution team at SpaceXAI, you will design, build, operate, and maintain electrical infrastructure for AI training campuses. Your responsibilities will include managing power system models, conducting detailed analyses, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with a small team in Memphis, TN, and may travel to other sites as needed.

What you need
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another engineering discipline
- 3+ years of experience in power systems design, analysis, and studies, with a focus on high-power, high-voltage systems
Nice to have
- Experience with power systems analysis software and tools: ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, PowerWorld, Matlab, PSCAD, PSS/E, ASPEN, Simulink, etc.
- Experience performing load flow, short-circuit, arc-flash, coordination, and transient stability studies
- Familiarity with industrial power systems up to 345 kV, including switchgear, transformers, BESS, VFDs, motors, distribution systems, UPS/emergency backups, power generation, relaying, metering, protective devices, and networking
- Professional Engineering license or intention to actively seek a PE license
- Experience with CAD software: Revit, AutoCAD, NX, etc.
