About this role
As an Experienced Critical Power Field Technician at Pearce, you will provide preventive maintenance, emergency service, and commissioning support for UPS systems and related critical power equipment in mission-critical environments like data centers and healthcare facilities. What you need
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience servicing UPS systems, battery systems, DC power equipment, generators, switchgear, or other mission-critical electrical infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of AC and DC electrical theory, power distribution systems, and battery technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience using multimeters, power quality analyzers, battery testing equipment, and other diagnostic tools.
- Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and electronic system failures.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills to explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience supporting equipment from manufacturers such as Eaton, Vertiv/Liebert, Schneider Electric/APC, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, ABB, or comparable critical power platforms is strongly preferred.
