What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on EHS experience, preferably in commercial office operations, tech facilities, labs/R&D, or manufacturing environments
- Proven track record of taking full ownership of projects - starting and finishing core EHS deliverables autonomously
- Direct experience managing regulatory reporting platforms (such as CERS or state equivalents) and compliance credentials (EPA numbers)
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA/state standards, EPA hazardous waste rules (RCRA), local fire codes, and emergency response planning
- Proactively identify and resolve safety issues, taking personal accountability for solutions and follow through
Nice to have
- DOT/IATA or RCRA Hazardous Waste Training certification
- Experience creating evacuation routes using design or diagramming tools (Bluebeam, Lucidchart, AutoCAD) or managing requests via ticketing systems (Asana, Jira)
