What you need

  • 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain experience, including direct support of R&D, prototype development, NPI, engineering development, or low-volume/early-stage production environments
  • Ability to manage competing procurement priorities and time-sensitive purchases in a fast-paced, ambiguous development environment
  • Experience procuring materials, components, equipment, and services in support of R&D, prototype builds, NPI, testing, or other development-focused work
  • Experience soliciting quotes, evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating pricing and lead times, and issuing purchase orders
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting government-funded programs and associated procurement requirements, including FAR/DFARS flow-down awareness where applicable
  • Knowledge of supplier quality management, obsolescence management, and supply chain risk mitigation practices
  • Experience procuring specialized technical components, electronics, RF/radar hardware, test equipment, fabricated parts, or other complex hardware in aerospace, defense, electronics, advanced technology, or similar technical environments
  • Experience supporting classified programs and secure supply chain environments
