What you need
- Previous experience leading construction layout crews
- Ability to operate total stations, site levels, lasers, data collectors, and tablets
- Strong understanding of structural, architectural, civil, and shop drawings
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, layout means and methods, and general building/site constructability
- Working knowledge of common field tools, including tape measures, hammers, torpedo levels, stick rulers, framing squares, and 2-foot or 4-foot levels
- Intermediate math and reading skills, including basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry

- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry layout equipment weighing up to approximately 50lbs
- Ability to work on uneven surfaces/heights
- Ability to read/write and see & hear well either naturally or with correction
- Agility/mobility to remain alert and stand or walk for long periods
