What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting and tax
- 2–3 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and multi-state tax compliance
- Demonstrated experience managing the monthly close process and producing accurate financial statements
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a venture-backed start-up environment
- Prior experience preparing for or supporting an audit or due diligence process
- Experience building or scaling an accounting function and/or team
- CPA, or qualifications to complete CPA are preferred
