What you need

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with inspection, metrology, and quality within a fast-paced aerospace/automotive manufacturing or production environment
  • 2+ years of experience in a people leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong working knowledge of metrology operations and programming (PC-DMIS, Calypso, Zeiss inspect, verisurf, or equivalent)
  • Proficient in GD&T with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Experience with a variety of metrology & inspection tools, including CMMs, portable arms, laser/structured-light scanners, and conventional precision instruments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve inspection, measurement, or data integrity issues

  • Hands-on experience with metrology, such as laser scanning or structured light measurement, CMMs, & scan arms
  • Experience interfacing CMM data with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or statistical process control (SPC) software
  • Experience in a Machine Shop
  • Experience with design for manufacture and product development life cycle
  • Experience with quality tools including root cause and corrective action, QMS and process auditing and statistical analysis of quality metrics
