About this role
In this role, you will be part of the Core Infrastructure team at Chime, focusing on managing and automating the infrastructure systems that support the company's products. Your day-to-day tasks will include building tools for self-service, designing and supporting cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with product development engineers to implement modern design patterns. You will also advocate for AI tools and work towards ensuring the reliability and efficiency of Chime's services.

What you need
- More than 2 years of cloud and Infrastructure experience
- Strong development experience in Ruby on Rails and Go Lang
- Previous professional experience in a DevOps/SRE/ProdEng role supporting customer-facing web services
- Previous success in enabling effective partnerships and strong communication with other engineers and teams
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters cloud hosted or self hosted
- Experience building and managing highly-available public cloud infrastructure and services, with an emphasis on stability, scalability, and security
Nice to have
- Experience with some of this tech - AWS services, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Datadog, Terraform
