About this role
As a Center-Based Child Autism Specialist at Life Skills Autism Academy, you will provide direct support to children on the Autism Spectrum through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in both individual and group settings. Your responsibilities will include implementing treatment plans, collecting and recording data on client behavior, assisting with parent training, and maintaining a safe and organized therapy environment. You will also need to communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and ensure all documentation is completed timely.

What you need
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to complete training within 45 days of employment
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation and proof of driver's license and valid car insurance if required
- At least 18 years of age
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification along with a TB test if needed
- Ability to physically perform the job, including lifting up to 50lbs and moving quickly when necessary

- Experience as a Teacher’s Aid, Tutor, CNA, Caregiver, or Home Health Aide
