About this role
As a Center-Based Behavior Technician at Life Skills Autism Academy, you will provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the Autism Spectrum, helping them develop critical skills in a supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include following individualized treatment plans, collecting and summarizing data on client behavior, and communicating progress with parents and caregivers. You will also assist in training parents and maintaining a safe and organized therapy environment.

What you need
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to complete training and exam within 45 days of employment
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation and proof of driver's license and valid car insurance
- At least 18 years of age
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test if not done in the past year
- Ability to physically perform the job, including lifting up to 50lbs and moving quickly
Nice to have
- Experience as a Behavioral Technician or working with children with autism or learning disabilities
- Experience as a Teacher’s Aid, Tutor, CNA, Caregiver, or Home Health Aide
