What you need
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- 20+ years of experience supporting senior general or flag officers and/or SES officials within the DoW (or 15 years with a Masters degree)
- Comprehensive knowledge of DoW and OSW policies, priorities, strategies, organizational structures, and missions
- Experience researching, analyzing, authoring, editing, and reviewing official government documents and executive-level staff packages
- Experience developing decision memoranda, directive memoranda, correspondence, reports, guidance documents, strategies, or similar executive-level products

- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise language
- Professionalism and tact when working with senior Department of War leadership, military personnel, civilian officials, and external stakeholders
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to foster productive relationships across diverse military and civilian organizations
- Ability to work independently, understand organizational requirements, and take appropriate action on behalf of the organization
