About this role
As a Data Center Project Manager at Align, you will oversee construction activities related to data center white space fit-outs, ensuring projects meet scope, quality, schedule, and budget requirements. What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent OR 5+ years of related construction management experience
- 5+ years of experience in construction management of large, complex mission critical projects
- Strong general contractor and vendor management experience
- Possess strong documentation skills and clear communication skills
- Able to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA
Nice to have
- Understand electrical and mechanical principles relating to data centers
- Experience with Procore or similar project management software
- Knowledge of local subcontractor quality and relations with local contractors
- Experience related to the design or construction of data centers or large-scale mechanical and electrical plants
