About the Role
UnitedHealth Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join their team. This role is critical in managing and manipulating data to create robust business intelligence tools and conduct insightful analysis. You will be responsible for developing data solutions, interpreting results, and presenting actionable recommendations across the company.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and manipulate data to build business intelligence tools.
- Conduct analysis to recognize trends and develop data solutions.
- Create product specifications and models to support analyses.
- Interpret results and develop actionable insights.
- Present recommendations for company-wide use.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids, and business case analysis.
- Produce and manage the delivery of activity and value analytics to external stakeholders and clients.
- Utilize business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic, and statistical software.
- Create and update automated dashboards with key operational metrics.
- Lead a process to provide meaningful insights to appeals leadership personnel on a recurring basis.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses on healthcare data, financial objectives, automation and cost-benefit initiatives, and operational staffing impacts.
- Conduct front-end visualization of existing reports and manual dashboards.
- Perform QA and UAT of health risk data.
- Provide operational or subject matter expertise to train others.
- Conduct oversight and monitoring of HRA program CMS compliance standards.
- Maintain all requirements for the annual data validation audit response file.
- Maintain data integrity in the HRA DataMart to optimize CMS and Stars performance measures.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field.
- 24 months of experience in the job offered or a data analyst-related occupation.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with Predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with SSIS.
- Experience with Alteryx.
- Experience with ETL frameworks.
- Experience with Complex Data modeling.
- Experience with Strategic decision support.
- Experience with Statistical Modeling.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Azure.
