We are seeking a results-oriented Sales & Operations Planning Manager to manage resources for Trivium’s North American Food and Specialties (F&S) needs, driving our vision and meeting customer demands. This role is part of the America’s Procurement & Supply Chain team, reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, F & S. The manager will collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, Commercial, Engineering, and Operations teams across Trivium to ensure a harmonious business rhythm division-wide. Key responsibilities include assessing and managing supply chain risks, monitoring and adjusting supply chain activities based on market conditions, and optimizing supply plans.Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end supply planning and distribution to ensure uninterrupted product availability while balancing demand, capacity, and cost.
- Stay informed of market trends, demand shifts, and internal constraints to anticipate risks and proactively adjust supply plans.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve supply gaps, escalating risks and constraints as needed to ensure continuity of supply.
- Lead root cause problem-solving (RCPA) for supply, inventory, and service issues to prevent recurrence and improve performance.
- Own and lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring cross-functional alignment between commercial, operations, procurement, engineering, finance, and customer service.
- Track, monitor, and optimize inventory levels across all plants and warehouses to meet safety stock targets without excess.
- Manage and project manage initiatives to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate distribution planning across the network to ensure optimal inventory positioning.
- Identify and drive cost savings opportunities through process improvements and optimization initiatives.
- Partner closely with procurement, warehousing, and logistics to ensure necessary materials, transportation, and warehouse capacity are available.
- Project manage all production transitions, including new product introductions, transfers, and obsolescence.
- Monitor and report on supply performance metrics, including inventory health, service levels, and delivery performance.
- Ensure robust business continuity and risk management plans are in place.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with plant leadership and cross-functional partners.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management; Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
- 6-10 years of professional experience, with specific experience in Supplier or Customer Relationship Management, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain.
- Clear understanding of procurement and supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Experience working in complex matrix environments, across functions and geography.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, and ability to partner with senior executives and their teams.
- Knowledge of production planning and understanding of inventory management as related to OCF.
- Experience independently building financial models and analyzing/combining data from multiple systems.
- Experience with SAP ERP systems for data entry and retrieval.
- Ability to accommodate travel up to 10%.
