The Opportunity
You will serve as a vital field leader, managing the daily execution of high-quality carpentry and interior remodeling projects for both residential and commercial clients. This role empowers you to mentor apprentices and technicians while maintaining direct oversight of job-site safety and technical excellence. You will have the autonomy to drive project success and the support of a company that actively invests in the communities it serves.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Supervise and participate in all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed ahead of schedule and within budget.
- Mentor and train apprentices and technicians according to formal company procedures to build a high-performing field team.
- Coordinate daily "game plans" and material orders to maintain seamless project flow and operational efficiency.
- Manage client relationships through daily communication, addressing concerns on-site to ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Execute detailed quality control checks and safety inspections to maintain strict adherence to project specifications and protocols.
- Direct the maintenance and organization of company vehicles and equipment to ensure field readiness at all times.
- Document daily activities, attendance records, and performance evaluations to maintain accurate project transparency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the remodeling industry.
- Proven ability to self-perform complex carpentry and interior remodeling tasks.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing crews, subcontractors, and apprentices.
- Proficiency in reading project scopes and managing site logistics with minimal oversight.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10% of working hours) to various project locations.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Advanced knowledge of carpentry products, interior finishes, and installation techniques.
- Experience in sales or project estimating, specifically regarding Additional Work Orders (AWO).
