Registered Nurse
We are searching for a Staff Nurse -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will gather information, assess, and provide direct care to patients. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to render age-appropriate care.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists with the collection of patient/family data, including biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, and environmental information.
- Collects and documents vital signs, height/weight, and reason for visit, graphing data per protocol.
- Documents current medications, allergies, and other information with 100% accuracy.
- Prepares patients for examination and assists providers during treatments, examinations, and testing.
- Administers medication and immunizations as directed, documenting administration and reporting errors immediately.
- Provides patient/family education as instructed and documents it in the medical record.
- Coordinates referrals, ensuring the family has necessary contact information and documentation.
- Triages patients and phone calls per protocol and site standards, documenting all clinical patient phone calls.
- Collects and processes specimens using proper technique and follows site protocol for reporting results.
- Demonstrates service philosophies to patients and families, identifies self, explains the visit process, and provides information on visit length.
- Undergoes respiratory fit testing as required.
Skills & Requirements
- Required Diploma in Nursing or associate degree accepted by the Texas Board of Nursing for RN licensure.
- Preferred bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Licenses/Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse (Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure Compact), BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association).
