Air Traffic and Aviation Security Expert
The Swiss Federal Administration is seeking an Air Traffic and Aviation Security Expert to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of the Swiss model by ensuring the well-being of the population through critical security functions.
Your Contribution
- Exercise surveillance (including certification processes) in the areas of air traffic management, security management, and military aviation security services.
- Determine and represent the army's needs regarding air traffic control and the integration of army systems into air traffic.
- Develop and implement concepts for the integration of army aircraft and systems (especially unmanned aerial vehicles) into air traffic.
- Expand and adapt regulatory, surveillance, and certification processes in various air traffic management sectors within the context of military capability development.
- Accompany and coordinate the development, modification, and introduction of communication, navigation, and surveillance systems.
What Distinguishes You
- Swiss citizenship with a university or professional school degree in engineering and willingness to undertake specialized further training.
- Experience in the development, integration, or operation of technical systems in the fields of drones, air traffic control, CNS, or ICT, within the interface between military and civil aviation.
- Swiss Army officer with experience in planning and conducting operations within the Air Force is considered an advantage.
- An independent and team-oriented personality with an efficient approach, abstraction capability, and analytical and interconnected thinking skills.
- Resilience, tenacity, and negotiation skills when dealing with diverse interest groups and organizations.
- Good active knowledge of at least one other official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language.
