About the role
Commercial Electrician
Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted regional provider of skilled trade services, supporting commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services for our clients. We are currently seeking a Commercial Electrician for new construction and tenant improvement projects at various stages across Southern California. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and travel assignments.Responsibilities
- Install, route, and secure various types of conduit and cabling, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, CAT5/6, RMC, and Romex
- Install wiring, raceways, junction boxes, and electrical components in accordance with project specifications and applicable electrical codes
- Pull, feed, and terminate conductors in panels, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems, and control equipment
- Build, install, and troubleshoot control panels and related systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues and system malfunctions
- Perform refrigeration and/or HVAC motor control wiring (preferred)
- Assist with or perform Ansul system installations (preferred)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- May perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman
Requirements
- A minimum of four years of experience in commercial construction
- Ability to commute to various jobsites throughout Southern California
- Availability to work third shifts or overnight schedules as needed
- Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairs
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather

Salary Description
$24 to $33 per hour (DOE)
