About The Role
We are seeking a talented and dedicated writer to join our creative team as a Content Creator specializing in spiritual and theological content. In this role, you will craft narratively compelling, theologically grounded meditations, prayers, reflections, and community challenges that will be integrated into our app to support thousands of users daily in their spiritual journeys. You will take ownership of the creative process from conceptualization to production, ensuring that each piece resonates deeply with our audience and aligns with our mission. Collaboration with external partners, cross-functional teams, and content strategists will be integral to your success. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in theology and creative writing, with a passion for crafting content that inspires and transforms lives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Theology, English, Creative Writing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional writing experience, preferably in faith-based or spiritual content
- Portfolio demonstrating spiritual depth, narrative craft, and cultural awareness
- Exceptional writing skills with clarity, beauty, and depth
- Strong understanding of Catholic and broader Christian theology, scripture, and spiritual traditions
- Ability to adapt tone and style for devotional, catechetical, and narrative formats
- Excellent collaboration skills and receptiveness to feedback
- Experience with media production, storytelling, or audio scripting is a plus
- Willingness to travel for content production and team meetings as needed
Responsibilities
- Craft high-quality, theologically rich meditations, prayers, reflections, and community challenges for daily use within the app
- Lead the creative direction of content projects from ideation through final production, including scripting and audio direction
- Identify and develop partnerships with external collaborators to enhance content diversity and depth
- Contribute ideas for new series, seasonal content, and innovative formats to engage our diverse audience
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure content aligns with platform goals and user needs
- Maintain a consistent voice and theological accuracy across all content pieces
- Stay informed about current cultural trends, media consumption habits, and faith-based discussions to inform content strategy
- Participate in content review and editing processes to ensure quality and theological integrity
