Squarespace is seeking a Lead Product Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers to integrate data into product decisions and guide product development with insightful analysis. You will be responsible for creating data sets, designing analyses, providing rigorous reporting, and making actionable recommendations for our product roadmap. Your focus will be on driving impact by understanding customers and promoting growth, leveraging your curiosity, data fluency, and passion for data-driven decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Work with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to understand project goals, define key metrics, monitor performance, and gain insights into customer behavior.
- Partner with the Product team to become an expert in specific product areas, understand product requirements, and build dashboards to answer common questions.
- Iterate and improve existing analytical work to maximize impact, enhance user experience and adoption, measure business health, and provide data visibility to stakeholders.
- Translate broad business questions into research and discovery plans, conduct data exploration, and craft compelling narratives from data insights for non-technical audiences, ensuring clear storytelling and practical recommendations.
- Manage all technical implementations and documentation associated with your analytical work, striving for 100% accuracy.
- Champion best practices in experimentation methodologies and analyze results to provide data-driven recommendations.
Who We're Looking For
- 6-8 years of experience in data or product analysis, with SaaS experience preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience with reporting, dashboarding, and data visualizations using tools such as Looker, Amplitude, Hex, Tableau, or comparable platforms.
- Experience working with AI Tools like Cursor and Claude.
- Fluency in SQL and proficiency in Python for data exploration.
- A strong desire to dive deep into data, understand edge cases, and represent data effectively.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Experience building relationships with teammates and influencing decision-making across various levels of an organization.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, operations research, engineering, economics, or a related field is a plus.
