Manager, MarTech & AI
SelectQuote Insurance Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager of MarTech & AI to lead strategy, product management, and AI adoption efforts across their marketing technology stack. This role is pivotal, sitting at the intersection of data infrastructure, AI innovation, and marketing execution. You will work cross-functionally to identify, prioritize, and deliver capabilities that will fundamentally change how marketing campaigns are brought to market.
About The Role
As the Manager of MarTech & AI, you will own the MarTech product roadmap, lead AI use case development, and serve as the primary product and AI thought partner to marketing managers across CLM, paid, and omnichannel programs. You will be responsible for building a team and translating business problems into scalable MarTech and AI solutions. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing & MarTech.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has direct supervisory responsibility. The Manager is accountable for setting clear priorities, providing day-to-day direction, conducting performance reviews, and supporting the professional development of their team.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Leads, manages, and develops the MarTech team, setting priorities, removing blockers, and building team capability in AI tooling as a core competency.
- Leads the development and evolution of the Marketing tech stack with input from key stakeholders, inclusive of CLM, Paid, Connected TV, Display, and Web channels.
- Identifies, evaluates, and drives adoption of AI tools that change how marketing managers build and execute campaigns, including campaign automation, personalization logic, and AI-powered content tooling.
- Builds and maintains a practical AI adoption framework for marketing teams: use cases, guardrails, workflow integration, and measurement.
- Leverages new technologies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and monetization through data-driven marketing initiatives.
- Utilizes marketing technology to maximize impact on long-term growth.
- Sets strategic direction for the internal marketing technology stack aligned with business goals and understands third-party systems (Iterable, Segment, etc.) that integrate into the tech stack, with a primary focus on the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
- Defines, coordinates, and prioritizes marketing technology needs.
- Understands and articulates industry trends to identify new opportunities for enhancing marketing technology capabilities.
- Partners with a dedicated engineering team and go-to-market leaders to ensure combined efforts maximize impact on long-term growth.
- Presents to senior leadership on data insights, strategic initiatives, and key metrics.
- Utilizes analytics and data insights to inform decisions and measure the impact of initiatives.
- Works with pre-existing vendors to troubleshoot, implement, and iterate on projects.
- Identifies, analyzes, and makes recommendations for the selection of potential vendors via the RFP process.
- Holds weekly reporting sessions to track successes and challenges of launched use cases and iterates on workflows to optimize and drive program success.
- Aggregates, prioritizes, and manages roadmap meetings to ensure senior leadership is aligned on next steps.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement state-of-the-art marketing technology solutions.
- Oversees integrations, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of marketing technology platforms.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Individual Contributors (ICs) — setting clear expectations, coaching on delivery, and building team capability in AI and MarTech as a core competency.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- 4+ years of leadership or management experience.
- Platform experience with digital marketing, analytics technologies, database, or SaaS solutions.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Data Management Platforms (DMPs), and web analytics tools.
- Business and technical understanding of data or SaaS solutions, including the ability to read and write object-oriented languages.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and SQL.
- Strong understanding of APIs and integration with various platforms.
- Experience owning marketing technologies and responsibility for roadmap development.
Financial Responsibilities (budget/Revenue)
This position has input into MarTech tool and vendor budget recommendations and is responsible for managing spend within approved budgets for tools under direct ownership.
