Ondo Finance is a leader in providing institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We operate a technology arm for decentralized finance and an asset management arm for tokenized funds. Notable for being the first to tokenize US Treasury exposure, we've expanded into tokenized stocks and ETFs, and are incubating protocols for tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.

About The Role
Our Front-End / Web team builds web applications and APIs that grant access to complex investment products across various blockchains such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana, Sui, and Aptos. The team contributes to a wide array of Ondo products, including Onboarding, the Mint/Redeem experience for USDY & OUSG (Yield Assets), Tokenized Stocks and ETFs (Ondo Global Markets), Portfolio Experience, Bridge, and Flux Finance.
You will join a compact yet rapidly expanding team with diverse responsibilities. You will work across the full stack to implement new features and products, upholding a high standard of technical excellence in code quality and delivered solutions. This role offers the unique opportunity to build at the intersection of Web2 and Web3 experiences, contributing to the next wave of on-chain capital, particularly for our blockchain-enabled RWA investment products.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for seamless and secure interaction with on and off-chain data.
- Integrate and develop web3 libraries and frameworks for blockchain network interaction, including wallet connections, smart contract interactions, and transaction management.
- Optimize front-end code for performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions, considering blockchain data retrieval challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design) to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Define and build API endpoints and services for front-end functionality, ensuring efficient communication.
- Implement external system integrations to support web applications and operations.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party libraries, tools, and frameworks to streamline development and enhance product quality.
- Stay updated on Web3 and blockchain advancements, proactively suggesting improvements for user experience and technical architecture.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience in production codebases (Node.js/React/Javascript (Typescript)).
- 1+ years of experience or demonstrated interest (side projects) in developing decentralized applications.
- Based in PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones.
- Bachelor's degree or significant coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing needs.
- Solid fundamental knowledge of web application, API, and web3 development.
- Dedication to continuous learning and commitment to best practices across the technology stack.
- Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
