About the role
Case Information Specialist
The Case Information Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the office. This position plays a crucial role in managing court-related cases, responsible for verification and maintenance of data within the agency database system and processing lab requests. Ensuring smooth communication between staff, attorneys, and external parties. Assist in answering incoming calls to the agency and redirecting the calls to the appropriate party.
Position Requirements
Eligible candidates must have strong skills in data entry, Excel, oral and written communication, and organizational skills, and be able to complete tasks by deadlines. Ability to work independently. Must be courteous and professional. Computer knowledge with a keen eye for detail. Good practical experience with word processing tools and spreadsheets such as Access, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Maintain and update court-related cases in the databases
- Collect, enter, and verify data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Generate and provide statistical reports upon request
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner
- Always maintain data quality and integrity
- Notify attorneys and relevant parties upon receipt of requested documents
- Assist in preparing calendars, ensuring timely scheduling and coordination
- Communicate and coordinate case-related information efficiently
- Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure the smooth flow of case information data
Qualification Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred with three (3) years of work experience in a law firm, governmental agency, civic, or community organization.
