Odds Scanner is seeking a freelance German-language Content Writer/Editor to lead our betting tips coverage for the FIFA World Cup 2026. This role involves writing previews and predictions, editing content from other writers, and guiding our Italian audience through the tournament. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for soccer, experience in iGaming content, and can manage a fast editorial schedule through July.Responsibilities
- Write and edit betting tips, match previews, predictions, and tournament analysis in German for the FIFA World Cup 2026 coverage.
- Produce daily content including previews, value bet picks, accumulators, prop suggestions, and analysis of group stages and knockout rounds.
- Edit and quality-check content from other German-language contributors, ensuring consistency in tone, accuracy, and brand voice.
- Adhere to internal SEO content guidelines, including on-page structure, content briefs, and internal linking strategies.
- Verify factual accuracy of team information, lineups, player form, injuries, and tournament context prior to publication.
- Maintain a high publishing frequency aligned with the World Cup tournament calendar.
Requirements
- Native German speaker.
- Extensive knowledge of football, including Serie A, European club competitions, international football, and World Cup formats and history.
