Job Description
Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Classified Cybersecurity Analyst to join their Classified Solutions team. This role supports information system lifecycle activities and requires on-site, full-time work in Rolling Meadows, IL. You will have the opportunity to work on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives globally.
Responsibilities
- Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring of security controls, configurations, and operational processes.
- Assess systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations and policy.
- Analyze security requirements and recommend additional safeguards.
- Assist in implementing government policy and documenting process activities.
- Work within program control processes to mitigate risks and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems.
- Support Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E), including pre-test preparations, participation, analysis, and reporting.
- Document A&A activities and prepare the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience.
- Active Security+ certification.
- Current U.S. Government Secret security clearance (or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation Program).
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
- Due to the classified nature, this position is strictly on-site.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
- Experience in cybersecurity compliance (e.g., Assessment & Authorization under RMF).
- Knowledge of security tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and documentation like NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $72,700.00 - $109,100.00
- Eligibility for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses.
