The Design Group is powered by a large, dynamic and multiskilled team of designers. This Group lives and breathes design in all its expressions and outputs, from printed packaging to digital eCommerce. They work across a range of clients, brands and categories – from beauty to food and coffee to spirits. The team is uniquely constructed to deliver solutions that range from packaging design refreshes and redesigns, to new product innovations, category and line extensions, as well as best in class content for the Digital Shelf. This powerhouse group manages every scale of a project from one-off projects to some of the Globe’s most iconic and large scale private brand programs.About The Role
This position calls for a team member who is passionate about Design at every level. The Designer will contribute towards creative thinking from project initiation through completion of final product. An eternal learner – they are excited to put strategic insight and design systems into action. This Designer is on a path towards becoming a master in their craft – working collaboratively within a team or with increasing independence. With the aid of Senior team members – they are able execute ideas across a broad range of styles. The Designer pushes their boundaries and problem-solving skills by working on projects with increasing complexity. They have a solid eye for design and are excited to pitch in on all types projects. The Designer is a thoughtful and thorough member of the team, ensuring their work is high quality, accurate, and delivers against the client brief. This role specializes in both digital shelf and packaging design and brand systems, ranging across an exciting spectrum of industries, including CPG food and beverage, spirits & beer, health, personal care, retail, and more.Responsibilities

- Thriving in the demands of pressing deadlines and confidently managing multiple priorities
- Playing an active role in supporting both your immediate colleagues and those across the agency, and mentoring Junior team members
- Taking personal responsibility and guardianship for your projects – ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely completion of high quality work
- Maintaining a positive and open dialogue with team members so they are fully informed throughout the project life-cycle
- Being an active participant in agency life and get involved with internal initiatives
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 3-6+ years of experience in packaging, digital and/or brand design
- Expert fluency in design software, especially Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Well-rounded portfolio showcasing excellent understanding of typography, photography, Illustration, presentation skills, sketching and design methodology
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with both iOS and Windows; fluency in Keynote, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
