About This Team
The Marketing Activations Team sits within Marketing Technology and is responsible for the program delivery, portfolio orchestration, and operating rhythm that enable execution across Lululemon’s guest marketing technology ecosystem. This function acts as the connective tissue across business stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, Finance, and leadership, ensuring roadmap priorities are translated into executable plans with clear accountability, sequencing, and visibility. As the Technology Manager – Marketing Portfolio Delivery, this role leads the program and project management function for Marketing Technology, partnering closely with the Director of MarTech to drive portfolio delivery, financial planning, resource strategy, and cross-functional execution. This role operates as a chief of staff for the portfolio—bringing structure, rigor, and transparency to delivery while helping the organization scale effectively across priorities, teams, and regions.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the program and project management function for Marketing Technology, establishing the operating rhythm, governance, and delivery mechanisms required to execute the portfolio effectively.
- Own end-to-end portfolio delivery planning across Marketing Technology, translating strategy and roadmap priorities into sequenced execution plans with clear milestones, dependencies, risks, and accountability.
- Partner closely with the Director of MarTech on portfolio operations, including financial planning, budget tracking, investment trade-off discussions, and ongoing alignment between funding, capacity, and delivery commitments.
- Drive resource planning across the portfolio, balancing demand, team capacity, vendor support, and skill coverage to ensure priorities are staffed appropriately and execution risks are surfaced early.
- Drive delivery excellence across the portfolio by implementing consistent planning, status reporting, dependency management, and issue escalation practices that improve predictability and execution quality.
- Identify, track, and manage portfolio-level risks, decisions, and dependencies, ensuring leaders have timely visibility into delivery health, trade-offs, and actions required to keep critical work on track.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships across technology, marketing, analytics, finance, and external vendors to drive alignment, resolve blockers, and maintain momentum across complex initiatives.
- Own the portfolio management cadence, including roadmap reviews, delivery dashboards, leadership updates, and decision forums that support effective governance and executive transparency.
- Support vendor and partner planning across the portfolio, ensuring external capacity, scope, and delivery expectations are aligned with business priorities and financial constraints.
- Act as a strategic delivery leader for the portfolio by anticipating constraints, recommending trade-offs, and helping senior leaders make informed decisions on priorities, sequencing, and organizational focus.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience leading complex technology programs, portfolio management, delivery operations, or business operations functions in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience leading program and project managers, operating cross-functional delivery teams, or serving in a chief of staff, portfolio management, or strategic operations capacity.
- Strong command of portfolio planning, financial management, capacity planning, executive communications, and delivery governance, ideally within marketing technology or digital product organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation and Benefits Package
Lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $157,500 - $206,700 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
