Art Director Waterparks FECs
Lucky Strike Entertainment is seeking a talented Art Director to lead the visual direction and execution of brand and campaign creative across our Waterparks and Family Entertainment Center (FEC) portfolio, including Castle Park. This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for shaping and evolving brand identity, developing high-impact creative, and ensuring consistency across all channels.
What You'll Do
Creative Direction & Brand Development
- Lead the development and evolution of brand identity across Waterparks, FECs, and Castle Park.
- Concept and execute hero creative for campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and key business moments.
- Translate business and marketing objectives into compelling, high-performing visual storytelling.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all creative, maintaining a cohesive brand system.
Campaign & Asset Development
- Develop campaign creative across digital, social, email, web, OOH, and in-park materials.
- Oversee creation of in-park collateral (signage, menus, wayfinding, event materials) and ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Partner with marketing to bring seasonal, promotional, and always-on campaigns to life.
Template & System Creation
- Build and maintain scalable design templates and toolkits for digital and print assets.
- Establish clear design guidelines that enable efficient execution by designers and external partners.
- Ensure templates balance brand consistency with flexibility across multiple parks and markets.
Team Leadership & Workflow Management
- Manage and mentor one direct report (Designer), providing clear direction, feedback, and development support.
- Own incoming creative requests, prioritizing, assigning, and ensuring timely completion.
- Determine when to personally lead work vs. delegate to the designer based on complexity and priority.
- Maintain visibility into all active projects and proactively manage timelines and deliverables.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with the internal creative team, Waterpark and FEC marketing teams, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with media, operations, and external partners to ensure creative aligns with channel strategy and execution.
- Participate in campaign planning to ensure creative is integrated from concept through launch.
Production & Execution Oversight
- Oversee production across digital, print, and out-of-home (OOH) channels.
- Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications and production standards.
- Work with vendors and partners (print, fabrication, media) to bring creative to life in-market.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6–8+ years of experience in design, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
- Experience across digital, print, and environmental/experiential design.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior designers.
