Technical Project Manager - EMR Focused
Rezult Group, Inc. is seeking two (2) qualified Technical Project Managers with EMR focus for a remote contract position. This role is ideal for professionals looking to contribute to the technology community nationwide and achieve success in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of multiple, concurrent projects, ensuring compliance with governance processes from scoping through closing. This includes balancing project scope, timelines, quality, and budget, as well as managing risks, completing status reports, and conducting post-deliverable assessments. Key duties involve day-to-day management of project resources, significant communication with stakeholders, and direct interaction with individuals at all organizational levels, as well as third-party vendors and consultants.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Create and execute project work plans, identify resources, assign responsibilities, apply company methodology, enforce project standards, coordinate quality assurance, manage project risks and issues, and ensure project documents are complete and stored appropriately.
- Project Accounting: Develop budgets, provide monthly forecasting, manage overall budget, ensure timely invoicing, monitor receivables, follow up on unpaid invoices, and ensure project legal documents are completed and signed.
- Communication: Facilitate team and customer meetings, hold regular status meetings, keep the project team informed of organizational changes, communicate project information to superiors, resolve and escalate issues promptly, and communicate difficult information tactfully.
- Customer Management & Business Partnership: Manage day-to-day customer interactions, set and manage customer expectations, build lasting relationships, identify customer needs, evaluate business solutions, build a knowledge base of each customer's business, and ensure alignment with business goals and strategy through regular cadence with business leadership.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of hands-on project management experience.
- Experience with Healthcare applications such as HST, Provation, Cerner, and Epic is required.
- Ability to lead EMR projects, including full implementations, HL7 Interfaces, and Optimization efforts.
- Clinical background (Nursing/Medical Assistant) is a plus.
- Experience managing projects using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with adaptability to dynamic project environments.
- Proven ability to manage key stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong leadership skills, including conflict and issue resolution.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for customers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Ability to work effectively with project resources across multiple departments.
- Substantial experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint & Project.
- ServiceNow experience is a plus.
- Microsoft Office 365 experience is a must.
- 2-3 years of experience working in a Healthcare Information Technology department or company.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Org. Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
- PMP Certification is a plus.
