WordPress Content Developer
JerseySTEM is seeking a dedicated WordPress Content Developer to enhance our website and improve access to STEM education for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey. This pro-bono volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute your skills to a mission-driven organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify content on JerseySTEM's WordPress platform website.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team and other departments to identify website needs.
- Create and prioritize a list of website design needs and enhancements.
- Edit, add, and modify website content based on internal customer requirements.
- Attend a weekly Zoom call on Fridays from 12 PM to 1 PM EST.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience with WordPress website design.
- Experience working in a member or mission-driven organization is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and see projects through to completion.
- BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience.
Commitment
- Minimum six-month commitment.
- Approximately six flexible hours per week.
- This is a pro-bono volunteer position.
- K-12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the $100 refundable deposit.
